Job summary

Cheshire College - South & West is seeking an inspiring Learner Wellbeing and Inclusion Coach to support SEND and disadvantaged learners at Ellesmere Port and Chester Campuses. You will run one-to-one or group wellbeing interventions, help attendance and achievement, and track progress.

You will work with Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team Leader, Personal Development Tutors and curriculum areas to identify learners at risk and provide strategies for life-long wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience in a supportive environment with young people who are disadvantaged or vulnerable.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and DBS checks.
• Excellent digital skills and ability to maintain GDPR-compliant records.

Responsibilities

• Identify learners at risk of not achieving learning goals with the Wellbeing team.
• Support attendance, disaffection, safety and personal circumstances affecting achievement.
• Provide strategies to improve learners' wellbeing and life skills.
• Deliver group and 1:1 wellbeing interventions; track progress.
• Establish links with external agencies and maintain records per GDPR.
