Job summary

Action for Children in Guernsey is seeking a Practitioner for the Work and Wellbeing service. You will support young people aged 16–25, delivering one-to-one and small-group interventions, and contribute to housing and wellbeing projects.

The role requires safeguarding expertise, flexibility around hours, and a commitment to helping NEET young people prepare for work and independent living. This position is based in Guernsey with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with young people in one-to-one or small group settings.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience applying safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality service to young people, building positive relationships.
• Deliver evidence-based, personalised interventions with individuals or small groups; in classroom settings when needed.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions to professionals and community partners.
