Job summary

Itec Skills and Employment in Swansea is seeking a Youth Tutor to deliver engaging tutoring sessions, tailor learning plans, and inspire learners to reach their potential. This role supports the Jobs Growth Wales Plus (JGW+) initiative to enhance employability.

You will work with NEET individuals, plan lessons, assess progress, and help learners achieve qualifications while contributing to a supportive, employee‑owned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification or degree equivalent.
• Good level of Math and English GCSE C, Level 5 or above.
• Experience tutoring, training or mentoring young people.
• Experience working with NEET individuals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions using varied teaching methods to engage learners.
• Develop creative lesson plans with differentiated teaching styles.
• Plan and support the learner's individual learning journey.
• Help learners achieve qualifications to a quality standard on time.
