Job summary

Itec Training Solutions Limited seeks an Essential Skills Tutor to support learners with literacy, numeracy and digital literacy within workshops or one-to-one sessions across Youth premises in Bridgend.

The role involves arranging, conducting and invigilating tasks for Essential Skills qualifications. DBS checks and EWC registration are covered, and a full driving licence with own vehicle is required for travel between sites. This is a permanent, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Literacy, numeracy and digital literacy support to learners.
• Experience working with young people and/or passion for making a difference.
• Engaging and inspirational training and delivery style.
• Willingness to obtain DBS check and EWC registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide literacy, numeracy and digital literacy support to learners in workshops or one-to-one settings.
• Ensure learners achieve Essential Skills qualifications in a timely manner.
• Plan and support learners on their individual learning journeys.
• Travel between sites as required and contribute to quality training delivery.
