Job summary

Hertfordshire County Council is hiring a Youth Support Worker in Charge to lead a small team in North Hertfordshire and St Albans. The role includes planning and delivering group projects, as well as providing one-to-one support to vulnerable young people aged 11–17. The ideal candidate will have youth work experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships. Qualifications

  • Experience in youth work, paid or voluntary, ready for career advancement.
  • Strong IT, record-keeping, organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with partner organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of youth support workers and volunteers.
  • Plan and deliver curriculum-based group work projects.
  • Provide one-to-one support to vulnerable and at-risk young people.
