Job summary

The Children's Society is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager to lead assessments, coproduced goal-based planning, and deliver targeted group work and one-to-one support to children and young people. The role requires building positive relationships with diverse young people, educating and mentoring, and managing safeguarding and data collection across services in Torbay and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out comprehensive assessments and develop coproduced goal-based plans.
• Plan and deliver targeted group work.
• Provide one-to-one support to children and young people to achieve goals.
• Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with children and young people.
• Experience with underserved, marginalised, or disengaged youth.
• Educate, inform, coach and mentor children and young people.
• Carry out high quality needs and strengths based assessments.
• Experience working with SEND children and young people.
• Co-design goal-based plans to support goals.
• Maintain coherent records and data per service protocols.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop coproduced goal-based plans.
• Plan and deliver targeted group work and one-to-one support.
• Educate, inform, coach and mentor children and young people.
• Manage risks and ensure safeguarding in line with policies.
• Travel across Torbay to attend meetings at various locations.
• Deliver outreach work and DBT interventions where applicable.
