Job summary

The Children's Society is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop coproduced, goal-based plans. The role involves planning and delivering targeted group work and providing one-to-one support to children and young people to help them achieve their goals.

You will build positive relationships with children and young people, including those underserved or disengaged, educate and mentor them, and co-design goals.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out high quality needs and strengths based assessments.
• Experience with children and young people including those underserved or disengaged.
• Ability to educate, inform, coach and mentor children and young people.
• Co-design goal-based plans to support children and young people.
• DBT qualification and experience of delivering DBT services.
• Experience delivering outreach work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop coproduced goal-based plans.
• Plan and deliver targeted group work.
• Provide one-to-one support to children and young people to achieve their goals.
• Maintain positive and constructive relationships with children and young people.
• Travel across Torbay to attend meetings in various locations.
