Job summary

Centrepoint in Keighley, Bradford, is recruiting a Young Parents’ Support & Progression Officer on a full-time 37.5-hour basis for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. The role may require travel to other Centrepoint sites across Bradford.

Closing date is 6 October 2026 and salary ranges from £25,585 to £31,239 per annum. The post involves helping young parents and their children build healthy, fulfilling futures, with dedicated support within our accommodation-based service and potential cross-site

Qualifications

• Experience working with young parents or expectant parents is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Working within the Young Parent Service, providing support to vulnerable young Parents and single young people.
• Working in a team with a strong understanding of the developmental needs of children, the challenges of parenting.
• Promote a vibrant culture with an uncompromising commitment to excellence, reflecting and responding to health and housing needs and fully integrating support packages that reflect the needs of those accessing the service.
• Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team that works with young parents / Young people to identify and meet their personal, social, health, learning and work needs.
• Follow the lead from line management to ensure that all performance and contractual targets are met and exceeded.
