Youth Mentor - Specialist School
Location: Thatcham, Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: 90 - 105 per day
Hours: Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome challenges and reach their potential? Are you a patient, resilient and positive individual who enjoys building meaningful relationships with young people?

A supportive specialist school in Thatcham is seeking a dedicated Youth Mentor to join their team as soon as possible. The school works with young people who may experience barriers to learning, social difficulties, behavioural challenges and additional needs.

As a Youth Mentor, you will provide consistent encouragement and guidance, helping pupils develop their confidence, emotional wellbeing and ability to engage positively with education.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to young people

• Support students with their social and emotional development
