Job summary

Depaul UK is seeking a Service Manager to lead two supported accommodation services in Bishop Auckland and Tow Law. You will supervise Progression Coaches and Outreach teams, ensuring safe, person-centred support for 18–24-year-olds.

You will drive safeguarding, housing management, budgeting and performance, while building strong links with local authorities and partners to sustain tenancies and access education, employment and training.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in housing or youth services.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and applying risk assessments.
• Comfort with budgeting, reporting and targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop staff to deliver high-quality support.
• Oversee safeguarding, risk assessments and support planning.
• Maintain housing management, property standards and health and safety.
• Manage budgets and monitor outcomes against targets.
• Build relationships with commissioners and partner agencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
