Job summary

Bedspace is seeking a Residential Youth Support Worker in Congleton to empower young people toward independence. You will guide them in life skills, budgeting, tenancy, and wellbeing using ASDAN modules, with emphasis on daily care, safety, and community integration.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, vehicle access, and willingness to work nights/weekends. A Level 3 qualification pathway is offered in-house to support career development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people who have complex needs in social care.
• Safeguarding knowledge for vulnerable adults and children.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to young people, helping them develop essential life skills.
• Assist with educational, health, and welfare needs, ensuring access to necessary resources.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of service users’ progress.
• Help young people manage daily tasks and appointments.
• Contribute to a safe and supportive environment through regular communication and monitoring.
