Job summary

Fedcap UK is hiring a Job Broker - Employer Engagement in Coventry, offering a full-time, permanent role with home-based duties and regular travel across Coventry and Warwickshire. You will build relationships with employers, generate vacancies, and support participants through the recruitment journey to help them succeed.

The role requires strong relocation and outreach skills, a passion for creating opportunities, and experience in recruitment or employability services.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for people who can build relationships, spot opportunities and genuinely want to help people succeed.
• You’ll ideally have experience in recruitment, employer engagement, business development, sales, account management, employability, employment services or another employer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with local employers across a range of sectors.
• Generating quality vacancies, work placements, apprenticeships and other employment opportunities.
• Getting to know employers and understand their recruitment needs, workplace culture and progression opportunities.
• Developing a pipeline of vacancies and actively match participants to suitable opportunities.
• Using creative approaches such as reverse marketing to open up opportunities that may not otherwise exist.
• Supporting participants throughout the recruitment journey, from identifying suitable roles through to interviews, job starts and beyond.
• Working with employers and participants to agree effective onboarding arrangements, workplace support and reasonable adjustments where required.
• Carrying out strengths-based vocational profiling to understand each participant's skills, aspirations, experience and barriers.
• Providing practical support with job searching, applications, CVs and interview preparation.
• Connecting participants with specialist services and community organisations where additional support is needed.
• Providing in-work support to help people settle into their roles, overcome challenges and sustain employment.
