Job summary

Fedcap Employment is hiring a Job Broker - Employer Engagement to connect young people with local employers across East Kent. You will build relationships, generate vacancies and opportunities, and guide participants through recruitment from outreach to job starts.

Regular travel and outreach are involved, with a full-time, permanent, home-based structure and Monday-Friday hours. You will work to understand employer needs, customise recruitment approaches, and provide ongoing in-work support and

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, employer engagement, business development, sales, account management, employability, employment services or another employer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with local employers across a range of sectors.
• Generate quality vacancies, work placements, apprenticeships and other opportunities.
• Understand recruitment needs, workplace culture and progression opportunities.
• Develop a pipeline of vacancies and match participants to opportunities.
• Use creative approaches to open up opportunities.
• Provide recruitment journey support from identifying roles to interviews and starts.
• Set up onboarding arrangements and workplace support with employers and participants.
• Carry out vocational profiling to understand skills, aspirations and barriers.
• Assist with job searching, applications, CVs and interview prep.
• Connect participants with specialist services and community organisations.
• Provide in-work support to help sustain employment.
