Job summary

Fedcap UK is hiring a Job Broker - Employer Engagement to connect young people with local employers across North Lancashire. You will build strong employer relationships, generate opportunities, and guide participants through recruitment journeys from roles to interviews and job starts.

You will work with diverse sectors, understand recruitment needs, and provide onboarding support while actively developing a pipeline of vacancies and meaningful placements.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or employer engagement.
• Ability to build relationships with employers.
• Experience in matching candidates to vacancies.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple vacancies and participants.
• Understanding of local labour markets.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with local employers across sectors.
• Generate quality vacancies, work placements, apprenticeships and other opportunities.
• Understand employer recruitment needs and culture.
• Develop a pipeline of vacancies and match participants to opportunities.
• Use creative approaches to open up opportunities.
• Support participants through recruitment journeys from roles to interviews and starts.
• Arrange onboarding and workplace support with employers.
• Conduct strengths-based vocational profiling of participants.
• Provide job searching, CVs and interview prep assistance.
• Connect participants with specialist services and community organisations.
