Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre is seeking a Youth Employment Advisor to support the Youth Job Guarantee programme. You will manage a caseload of 18-24 year olds, providing coaching, careers guidance and CV/interview support to help them move into sustainable employment.

You will work with employers and partners to create opportunities, monitor progress and ensure safeguarding and high-quality support throughout the participant journey.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people aged 18-24.
• Experience managing a caseload of participants while keeping accurate records.
• Ability to motivate and support individuals facing barriers to employment.
• Experience in a target-driven environment with performance outcomes.
• Strong safeguarding responsibilities and risk awareness.
• Confident using Microsoft 365 apps and digital systems.
• Resilient and professional in challenging conversations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach a team of Youth Employment Advisors to achieve performance targets and deliver an exceptional participant experience.
• Oversee caseloads and participant journeys, using performance data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, personalised support including assessments and action plans.
• Support young people to build confidence, independence and workplace readiness.
• Collaborate with employers, partners and internal teams to secure opportunities.
• Drive sustained employment outcomes through in-work support and early intervention.
• Maintain accurate participant records and data management.
• Promote safeguarding and participant welfare, escalating concerns as needed.
• Champion continuous improvement through coaching and development.
• Build stakeholder relationships to deliver programme objectives.
