Job summary

Seetec Group is seeking a Youth Employment Advisor for the Bath-based Youth Job Guarantee programme. You will manage a caseload of 18-24 year olds, provide personalised coaching, CV and interview support, and collaborate with employers and partners to create progression opportunities.

The role requires delivering outcomes in a target-driven environment, with strong safeguarding awareness and confidence using Microsoft 365 apps. 37 hours per week, permanent contract, closing 15 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people aged 18-24.
• Experience managing a caseload and keeping accurate records.
• Ability to motivate and support individuals facing barriers to employment.
• Experience in a target-driven environment with performance objectives.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk handling.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Willingness to travel across the required area.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Youth Employment Advisors to hit targets.
• Oversee caseloads and track participant journeys using performance data.
• Provide assessments, action plans, employability coaching and skills development.
• Support young people to build confidence and workplace readiness.
• Secure employment opportunities with employers and partners.
• Maintain accurate participant records and MIS data.
• Promote safeguarding and manage welfare concerns.
• Champion continuous improvement through coaching and feedback.
• Build stakeholder relationships to deliver programme objectives.
