Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre in Hampshire seeks an inspirational Team Leader to guide Youth Employment Advisors, drive performance and ensure safeguarding and quality across the Youth Job Guarantee programme.

You will coach the team, manage caseloads, use data to improve outcomes, collaborate with employers, and support young people aged 18-24 to secure sustainable employment. Salary £34,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership or management experience, including coaching colleagues and managing performance.
• Experience in a target-driven environment with quality and contractual standards.
• Strong knowledge of the local labour market and employability opportunities.
• Confident user of MS 365 and digital systems (Teams/Outlook/Word/Excel) and CRM.
• Experience managing caseload-based delivery and using performance data to improve outcomes.
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach a team of Youth Employment Advisors to hit performance targets and deliver excellent participant experience.
• Oversee caseloads and participant journeys, using data to identify risks and opportunities for intervention.
• Ensure high-quality, personalised support including assessments, action plans, coaching and skills development.
• Support young people to build confidence, independence and workplace readiness for sustainable employment.
• Collaborate with employers, partners and internal teams to secure opportunities and successful matches.
• Drive outcomes through effective in-work support and early intervention when challenges arise.
• Maintain compliance with participant records and management information.
• Promote safeguarding and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Foster continuous improvement through coaching and development to boost team capability.
• Build stakeholder relationships and support the Business Manager in delivering programme objectives.
