Job summary

Seetec is seeking a Youth Employment Advisor in Dorset to support 18-24 year olds through the Job Guarantee programme. You will coach participants, provide tailored guidance, CV and interview prep, and in-work support to secure sustainable employment.

You will work with employers and partners, manage caseloads, and maintain high safeguarding standards while using Microsoft 365 tools for case management and reporting. This permanent role offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people aged 18-24.
• Caseload management with accurate record-keeping.
• Motivate and support individuals facing employment barriers.
• Experience in a target-driven environment and achieving targets.
• Strong safeguarding responsibilities and risk awareness.
• Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications and relevant digital tools.
• Resilience and professionalism in challenging conversations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Ability to travel across the required geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and coach a team of Youth Employment Advisors to meet performance targets.
• Oversee caseloads and journeys, using data to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality, personalised support including assessments and action plans.
• Support youths to build confidence and workplace readiness for sustainable employment.
• Collaborate with employers, partners and internal teams to secure opportunities.
• Drive employment outcomes through in-work support and early intervention when needed.
• Maintain accurate participant records and comply with governance requirements.
• Promote safeguarding and welfare, escalating concerns appropriately.
• Champion continuous improvement through coaching and feedback.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships to help deliver programme objectives.
