Hertfordshire County Council’s Services for Young People seeks an Employment & Training Adviser to support and broker employment, training and work-related learning for young people in East Herts, Broxbourne & Welwyn Hatfield. The role involves direct delivery at youth centres, plus liaising with local employers to source opportunities.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to travel around the county independently.
• Flexibility to work as service needs require.
• Excellent verbal, written and ICT skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with young people.
• Understand issues facing unemployed youth and challenge stereotyping.
• Experience networking with local employers.

Responsabilidades

• Employment, training, and work-related learning activities support to young people.
• Job and work experience brokering.
• Support young people to enhance their employability skills.
• Undertake health and safety assessments within workplaces.
• Work face to face delivering at young people’s centres providing a range of support.
