Zusammenfassung

Hertfordshire County Council Services for Young People is seeking a proactive youth worker to support young people (ages 11-17 and care leavers 18-25) into employment and training opportunities. You will help with CV writing, interview prep and liaise with local employers to source work-related opportunities.

The role involves delivering at youth centres, conducting health and safety checks with employers and travelling around the county to broker placements. DBS checks apply.

Qualifikationen

• Full UK driving licence with regular access to a vehicle.
• Ability to travel independently around the county.
• Excellent verbal, written and ICT skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with young people.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and availability effectively.
• Ability to support team activities and contribute to the wider service.
• Understanding of issues facing young people who are unemployed and how to challenge stereotyping or discriminatory practice.
