Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre is seeking an Employability Trainer in the UK to deliver high-quality employability and work preparation support on the Youth Jobs Guarantee programme. You’ll run bite-sized workshops, group sessions, online training and one-to-one coaching to help young people secure and sustain employment.

You will work with Youth Employment Advisors to tailor training to local opportunities, monitor progress, maintain records, and ensure safeguarding and data protection

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability, work preparation, skills, or personal development training to young people and adults in both group and one-to-one settings.
• Ability to deliver engaging learning sessions through both face-to-face and online formats, including micro-learning.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and motivational skills to tailor delivery to diverse learners.
• Understanding of employability, recruitment processes, and barriers to employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, digital platforms, and MIS for accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Deliver employability and work preparation training in flexible formats (micro-sessions, group workshops, 1:1 support, in-person and online).
• Assess participant needs and tailor content and pace for inclusive delivery.
• Provide job-readiness training: CV writing, job search, interview prep, confidence building.
• Collaborate with Youth Employment Advisors and colleagues to support progression into vacancies.
• Maintain records of training delivery, attendance, and outcomes under Youth Jobs Guarantee requirements.
