Job summary

Seetec Group Ltd. is seeking an Employability Trainer to deliver high quality employability and work readiness support to Youth Jobs Guarantee participants in BANES & Somerset.

The role involves tailoring training to individual needs, delivering in multiple formats, and preparing young people for real vacancies and career progression. You’ll work with Youth Employment Advisors and employer engagement colleagues, using micro-learning and practical job-readiness training.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability, work preparation or related training to young people and adults.
• Ability to deliver engaging learning sessions in various formats including online and face‑to‑face.
• Strong facilitation, communication and motivational skills to suit different learners.
• Knowledge of employability, recruitment processes and workplace expectations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and digital learning platforms.
• Able to travel across the designated delivery area as required.
• Teaching or training qualification (Level 3/4) or equivalent.
• Experience developing engaging learning resources to support progression into employment.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, quality and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver employability and work preparation training using multiple formats including micro sessions and group workshops.
• Assess participant needs and tailor content for inclusive, accessible delivery.
• Provide CV writing, job search techniques and interview preparation training.
• Collaborate with Youth Employment Advisors to support progression into live vacancies.
• Develop and improve micro-learning sessions and training materials.
• Plan delivery schedule to maximize engagement, attendance and outcomes.
• Monitor progress, give feedback, and share outcomes for progression planning.
• Maintain records of training delivery, attendance and outcomes per required standards.
• Ensure delivery is safe, inclusive and compliant with safeguarding and data protection policies.

Education

Award in Education and Training (Level 3) or Certificate in Education and Training (Level 4)
