Job summary

Seetec Group is hiring an Employability Trainer to deliver high quality employability and work preparation support to participants on the Youth Jobs Guarantee programme across Dorset & Hampshire. You will run bite-sized workshops, group sessions, online training and one-to-one coaching, helping young people build CVs, interview skills and job-search readiness.

This permanent role is 37 hours per week, with a salary around £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus benefits including

Qualifications

• Experience delivering employability, work preparation, skills, or personal development training to young people and adults.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging sessions in both group and one-to-one formats.
• Strong communication, facilitation and motivational skills.
• Knowledge of employability processes, recruitment and progression challenges for young people.

Responsibilities

• Deliver employability and work preparation training in flexible formats (micro-sessions, workshops, 1:1, face-to-face and online).
• Assess needs and tailor content to diverse learners and local opportunities.
• Provide job-readiness training including CV writing, applications, interviews and job search techniques.
• Collaborate with Youth Employment Advisors and colleagues to support progression into live vacancies.
• Develop and improve learning materials based on feedback and delivery insights.
• Plan delivery schedules, monitor attendance, engagement and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of training delivery and participant progress.
• Ensure all delivery is safe, inclusive and compliant with safeguarding and data protection policies.
