Job summary

Fedcap UK is seeking an Employment Facilitator/Trainer to support young people in developing confidence, skills and resilience for sustainable employment. The role blends group learning with tailored one-to-one coaching, including CVs, applications and interview prep.

The post is home-based with regular travel across East Cheshire, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, salary £28,471 and permanent full-time contract. You’ll work with Job Brokers and local services to create a joined-up progression plan for

Qualifications

Experience in employability, youth work or related fields.
Ability to engage, motivate and support young people one-to-one and in groups.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills and adaptability to diverse needs.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging group sessions to build life, workplace and employability skills.
Provide tailored one-to-one coaching to help participants set goals and progression plans.
Support CVs, applications, job searching and interview preparation; align learning with local labour market needs.
Monitor engagement and progress, adjusting support to ensure timely interventions.
Collaborate with Job Brokers, employers and partners to connect learning with opportunities.
