Job summary

Fedcap Employment is seeking an Employment Facilitator/Trainer in Kent to help young people build confidence and practical employability skills. The role blends group learning with tailored one-to-one support and requires travel across Kent.

You'll design engaging sessions, support CVs and job searches, and work with employers and local services to create clear progression paths into sustainable work for participants.

Qualifications

• Experience in employability, youth work, education or coaching is desirable.
• Ability to deliver group sessions and provide one-to-one support.
• Comfort working with diverse young people and partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, interactive group sessions to build practical life, workplace and employability skills.
• Provide tailored one-to-one coaching and guidance, helping participants understand their strengths, identify goals and develop realistic progression plans.
• Help young people understand the world of work and build the confidence and workplace readiness they need to secure and sustain employment.
• Deliver practical support with CVs, applications, job searching, interview preparation and understanding employer expectations.
• Work alongside employers and colleagues to ensure learning reflects current local labour market needs and workplace expectations.
• Monitor participant engagement and progress, adapting learning and support to ensure each young person receives the right intervention at the right time.
• Develop and maintain engaging learning materials, guides, handouts and other resources to support personal development, employability and progression.
