Job summary

Sovereign & Bale is seeking an Activity Coordinator in South West London to design and deliver engaging activities for young people aged 18–24, with a focus on employability and progression toward employment or training.

You will work with Mentors, employers and community partners, plan sessions with clear objectives, and provide inclusive, accessible activities across Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton and Wandsworth, with occasional travel in the local area.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering activities for young people or young adults.
• Strong facilitation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to turn activities into employability opportunities.
• Experience in youth work, employability, education or community services.
• Understanding of safeguarding, inclusion and data protection.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the local area.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging activities that build confidence and employability.
• Plan sessions with objectives, resources and adjustments.
• Use diverse activities to support personal development.
• Coordinate with Mentors, employers and partners.
• Develop opportunities such as employer talks and workplace visits.
• Manage resources, budgets and communications.
• Monitor participation and outcomes to improve the offer.
• Support progression into mentoring, training or employment.
