Job summary

Sovereign & Bale is seeking an Activity Coordinator in South West London to design and deliver inclusive activities for young people aged 18–24. The role covers Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton, Wandsworth and nearby areas, with travel across the local area.

You will work with Mentors, employers and partners to ensure activities progress participants toward employment, education or training, using sport, arts, tech, gaming and community projects.

Qualifications

• Experience planning engaging activities for youth or young adults.
• Strong facilitation and communication with boundaries.
• Ability to turn activities into employability opportunities.
• Experience in youth work or related services.
• Understanding of safeguarding and data protection.
• Ability to manage group dynamics and challenging behaviour.
• Organisational skills to coordinate venues, partners and resources.
• Proficiency with IT and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver inclusive activities building confidence and employability.
• Plan sessions with objectives and adjusted accommodations.
• Use diverse activities to engage young people and support development.
• Coordinate with Mentors, employers and partners for progression.
• Develop employability opportunities including visits and mock recruitment.
• Manage resources, venues and schedules and maintain communications.
