Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Careers Coach to deliver Youth Jobs Guarantee programmes and one-to-one guidance across Watford, Hertford and Stevenage. This role is office-based with local travel, aiming to help unemployed individuals find sustainable work and access tailored training and CV support.

You will engage with community organisations, run group sessions, and build relationships with employers under the JCP framework, ensuring positive outcomes and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer facing environment (e.g. Customer Services, Hospitality, Social Care).
• Experience in a performance-target driven environment.
• Willingness to travel locally with access to own vehicle.
• A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma.
• GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification).

Responsibilities

• Identify participants' skills and suitable training and opportunities.
• Provide CV support, job-searching, and interview coaching.
• Conduct outreach events and sessions at community organisations.
• Facilitate group training courses and workshops.
• Engage with employers and manage stakeholders with the JCP.
