Job summary

AKG UK is seeking an Activity Coordinator to design, coordinate and deliver a rolling programme of engaging activities for young people aged 18 to 24. You will work with Mentors and partners to build aspiration, transferable skills and progression towards employment, education or training.

The role focuses on trauma-informed practice, inclusion and safeguarding, with responsibilities across activity design, delivery and partnership work. Travel to AKG sites is required across the local area.

Qualifications

• Experience of planning, coordinating and delivering engaging group activities for young people or young adults.
• Strong facilitation, presentation and engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt delivery for different needs and backgrounds.
• Experience in employability, youth work or related fields is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and maintain a rolling programme of structured activities aligned with participants' needs and outcomes.
• Deliver welcoming, inclusive sessions for 18–24-year-olds using diverse activities.
• Prepare session plans, learning objectives and resources with contingency arrangements.
• Adapt pace/content for diverse communication styles and accessibility needs.
• Coordinate specialist partner delivery, including venue bookings and participant communications.
• Support safeguarding and data protection in all activities.
