Job summary

AKG UK is seeking an Activity Coordinator to design, coordinate and deliver a rolling programme of engaging activities for young people aged 18 to 24 in South West London. You will build aspiration, confidence and transferable skills while working with mentors and partners to progress participants toward employment, education or training.

Role involves delivering inclusive sessions across sports, arts, technology, gaming and VR, preparing clear session plans, and coordinating partner delivery

Qualifications

• Experience planning, coordinating and delivering engaging group activities for young people (18–24).
• Strong facilitation and engagement skills with clear boundaries and expectations.
• Ability to adapt delivery for diverse needs and communication styles.
• Experience in employability, youth work, coaching or publicly funded services.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate and maintain a rolling programme of structured activities.
• Deliver welcoming, energetic sessions for 18–24-year-olds across sports, arts, tech, gaming, VR and outdoor activities.
• Prepare session plans, objectives and resources with contingency arrangements.
• Adapt pace, content and delivery for diverse communication styles, neurodiversity and literacy levels.
• Provide sector insight through employer talks, visits, mock recruitment and project-based learning.
