Job summary

Early Years Alliance requires a Learning and Disabilities Practitioner to run community and youth activities for children aged 5–18 with disabilities or complex health needs across Lincolnshire. You will lead sessions, assess progress, and support families within an integrated team.

You will plan engaging activities, liaise with professionals, and help families access services and information, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment that promotes independence and confidence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience with children with disabilities or complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with professionals and families.
• Ability to plan, facilitate and monitor sessions and activities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality community, youth groups and holiday sessions for children 5–18 with disabilities or complex health needs.
• Plan and run sessions that promote self-confidence and independence in a safe environment.
• Track and assess progress towards EHCP outcomes using available tools.
• Support parents to access Local Offer information and encourage peer engagement.
