Job summary

Early Years Alliance in Lincolnshire seeks a Learning and Disabilities Practitioner to support children aged 0-18 with disabilities or complex health needs, providing targeted short breaks and learning activities.

You will plan and run sessions across Stamford, Spalding, Holbeach and Boston, working with a small team to promote confidence and independence and to monitor progress against EHCP outcomes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or NVQ 3 Youth/Play work or equivalent.
• Experience with children with disabilities or complex health needs in early years or 5-18.
• Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and families.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate high-quality Early Support and Learning provisions for 0-5s with disabilities in Best Start centres.
• Plan, run and assess sessions to promote self-confidence and independence in a safe setting.
• Track progress against EHCP outcomes using suitable tools and documentation.
• Support parents to access Local Offer and encourage peer group participation.
