Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a dedicated youth worker to develop and deliver youth provision across a range of settings in the city, including Bulwell Riverside Youth Centre and the new Youth Hub.

You will work with Children's Integrated Services and voluntary organisations to coordinate activities that support personal, social and educational development for young people. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Youth Work or equivalent.
• Experience delivering high-quality services for children and young people.
• Ability to plan and lead youth work sessions in varied settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver youth provision across centre-based, outreach and detached settings.
• Collaborate with Children's Integrated Services and partner organisations to coordinate activities.
• Create safe, engaging opportunities for young people to build confidence and skills.
• Oversee volunteers and ensure delivery sites are used safely and effectively.
• Work flexibly across neighbourhoods to meet local needs.
