Teen Support Services Ltd is seeking a Home Manager to lead our supported accommodation for 16-25 year-olds. You will ensure safe, nurturing environments, manage staff across homes, and drive high quality care in line with statutory requirements.

The role requires safeguarding expertise, management experience, and a driving licence. Welcome opportunities to develop services and collaborate with professionals to support young people’s independence.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Competent IT skills for recording and reporting.
• Experience working with children or young people (essential).
• Management experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Driving Licence (required).

Aufgaben

• Support workers will float between different homes.
• Provide and maintain high quality support in line with legislation.
• Support daily routines: hygiene, diet, exercise, education attendance and homework.
• Support young people’s emotional wellbeing and risk assessments.
• Help young people with budgeting and finances.
• Assist access to community facilities and independence.
• Document engagement sessions and maintain records.
• Navigate challenging behaviour and promote pro-social conduct.
• Follow and update individual support plans as needs change.
• Safeguard young people and ensure safety of the home.
• Attend appointments and meetings with young people.
• Carry out daily tasks: meals, cleaning, laundry.
• Complete checks such as fire and COSHH.
• Build positive relationships with professionals.
• Induction to the role, safeguarding reporting, and equality of care.
