Job summary

Principal Education is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor in Hillingdon to support secondary students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The role is full-time until July 2027 and involves one-to-one and small-group mentoring to rebuild confidence in learning.

You will work with staff to track progress, help students stay engaged in lessons, and apply calm, firm boundaries when needed. An Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, with ongoing training offered by the

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in youth work, coaching, mentoring, care or schools.
• Patience, empathy, composure and firm, fair boundaries.
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Mentor students one-to-one and in small groups to support SEL and learning.
• Assist in lessons to help students stay engaged.
• Track progress with staff and celebrate small wins.
