Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves is currently recruiting a Behaviour Mentor for a Hillingdon secondary school, starting September 2026. Qualifications

  • The successful Behaviour Mentor will hold a 2:1 or First‑Class degree from a leading UK university.
  • Previous child‑centred experience through mentoring, youth work, coaching or similar settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with young people.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting KS3 and KS4 students through targeted 1:1 and small‑group interventions.
  • Promoting positive behaviour, attendance and engagement across the school day.
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism and ADHD within mainstream classrooms.
  • Assisting teachers with behaviour management and classroom engagement.
  • Working collaboratively with pastoral teams, teachers and families to improve student outcomes.
