Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Activity Coordinator to create and deliver engaging programmes for young people, helping them discover strengths, build confidence and progress toward employment, education or training.

You will plan a range of activities—from sport to creative projects, tech, gaming, outdoor experiences and community projects—while ensuring inclusion, safeguarding and clear progression for each participant.

Qualifications

• You could come from youth work, employability, education, coaching, community work, careers, training or another people-focused environment.
• Experience in mentoring, employment, recruitment, resourcing, youth work or similar support roles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, purposeful group and one-to-one activities.
• Help young people develop confidence, communication, teamwork, resilience and workplace skills.
• Turn interests into opportunities to discover and demonstrate transferable skills.
• Organise employer talks, workplace visits, mock interviews, volunteering and project-based experiences.
• Adapt activities so everyone can participate, whatever their confidence or needs.
• Work closely with mentors to connect activities to each participant's goals and next steps.
• Build relationships with community groups, employers, training providers and partners.
• Promote activities, encourage attendance and re-engage learners who lose confidence.
