Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive team at Branching Out Retford as a Young Persons Support Worker. You will be able to develop your skills and experience with us as we provide all the training you need to excel in the role.

This busy and dynamic service provides support to encourage our young people to be the best version of themselves. Our Retford project offers a strengths-based support service which aims to build the skills, confidence and independence of the young people who come through our doors.
Are you confident and resilient with previous experience working with Young People? If the answer is yes, then we have the perfect role for you.
We are looking for individuals with previous experience of working with young people and who have an understanding of the challenges young people face, childhood trauma and its effects. If you've worked as a Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or even volunteered with young people, we want to hear from you. Our ideal candidate would be:
Due to the location of the role, having a driving licence and access to a vehicle would be highly desirable.
Male Support Workers are currently under-represented in this area and we particularly welcome suitable applications.
Working on a rota basis means you will need to be flexible over a 7-day rota. Our service operates 24/7, however typical shift patterns are 07:00 - 14:30 and 14:30 - 22:00.
All successful candidates will be required to take a work-related test prior to the interview.
