About Paragon Social Care

At Paragon Social Care, we support vulnerable and challenging children and young people who are looked after by the council and are between longer-term placements. We intervene during these critical transition times by providing wrap-around, 24/7 packages of support. These packages include staffing ratios of 1:1 up to a maximum of 6:1, depending on each young person's individual needs.

Our support services can be based anywhere in the UK, requiring staff to be flexible with travel. This role is ideal for those without significant home commitments, as it offers flexible working hours to accommodate your lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Keeping the young person safe
• Engaging emotionally with the young person
• Assisting the young person with personal care
• Organizing activities and outings
• Transporting the young person to meetings, school, and appointments
• Cooking for the young person
• Maintaining a clean and tidy home environment

Who We Are Looking For

We seek Crisis Support Workers who ideally have experience working with challenging children and young people, though this is not essential. We provide all necessary training free of charge. If you lack experience but possess the qualities we seek, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
