Join NCHA as a Young Person’s Support Worker at Branching Out Newark. We provide training to help you succeed.
Branching Out Newark, commissioned by Nottingham County Council, offers a support service to build skills, confidence, and independence in young people.
We need motivated Support Workers to mentor young people, helping them to be their best. Work involves supporting young people's independence, education, leisure, and behavioral challenges.

Are you confident and resilient with experience working with young people? If yes, this role is for you.
Ideal candidates will have experience working with young people, understanding childhood trauma and its effects. Previous roles like teaching assistant, youth worker, or volunteer are relevant.
Our team advocates for tenants, liaising with agencies, supporting access to housing, education, and employment, and advocating in meetings.
Patience and assertiveness are essential, especially when managing challenging behaviors. You will also support activities like sports, crafts, and social events.
Flexible, rota-based shifts including 24/7 coverage. Day shifts are 08:00–15:30 or 14:30–22:00, with occasional night shifts with enhancement rates.
