Job summary

Tokko Youth Hub in Luton is seeking a Young Parent Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time role supports young parents across a range of needs and works with multidisciplinary colleagues.

You will plan parenting courses, maintain confidential records, advocate for young parents, and contribute to quarterly reports. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting young people, especially young parents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to enhance service delivery and share insights.
• Inform assessments to identify and meet the needs of young parents.
• Foster community support by partnering with other agencies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records.
• Support young parents with their child's development.
• Plan and facilitate parenting courses and group activities.
• Advocate for young parents in relevant meetings.
• Prepare quarterly and yearly reports for project evaluation.
