Job summary

Change Grow Live in Sefton is seeking a dedicated Young Adults Worker to support 18–24-year-olds in the community, with some work involving under-18s. You will manage a caseload, carry out assessments, care planning, and deliver 1:1 psychosocial and digital interventions.

You'll facilitate group work, outreach, and events, provide harm reduction advice, and work with partner agencies while upholding safeguarding for children, young people and adults.

Qualifications

• Support young adults aged 18–24 in the community, with some work involving under-18s.
• Caseload management, assessments, and psychosocial/digital interventions.
• Excellent engagement and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton.
• Conduct assessments, care planning, and deliver 1:1 psychosocial and digital interventions.
• Facilitate group work, outreach, and community events.
• Provide harm reduction advice and brief interventions.
• Work in partnership with agencies, attend safeguarding meetings, and deliver training.
