Job summary

Change Grow Live in Stockton-On-Tees is seeking a dedicated Young Adults Resilience Worker to support 18-24 year olds in the community, with some work involving under-18s. You will manage caseloads, deliver psychosocial and digital interventions, and work with partner agencies to safeguard and empower service users.

You will facilitate group work, outreach, and events, provide harm reduction advice, and contribute to training and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards issues revolving around drug and alcohol use.
• Excel in cultivating robust and supportive professional connections.
• Experience fostering collaborations with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in working with young people who engage in substance use.
• Proficiency in delivering training across diverse audiences and settings.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton.
• Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering 11 psychosocial and digital interventions.
• Facilitating group work, outreach, and community events.
• Providing harm reduction advice and brief interventions.
• Working in partnership with agencies, attending safeguarding meetings, and delivering training.
