Job summary

North East Help Limited is seeking compassionate, reliable and motivated Support Workers to join our supported accommodation service for young people aged 16–18. You will provide person-centred support to help them develop confidence, practical life skills and independence.

You will work as part of a team, liaise with Social Workers and education providers, and ensure safeguarding and risk management plans are followed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion and reliability in a care setting.
• Experience or willingness to work with young people aged 16–18.
• Commitment to safeguarding and risk management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to young people aged 16–18.
• Build positive relationships and safeguarding oversight.
• Assist with risk assessments and support plans.
• Maintain records, handovers and incident reporting; liaise with professionals.
