Job summary

Change Grow Live in Sefton is seeking a dedicated Young Adults Worker to support 18-24 year-olds in the community, with some involvement with under-18s. You’ll manage a caseload, conduct assessments, plan care, and deliver psychosocial and digital interventions to empower safe, informed choices.

Join a supportive team led by a caring service manager. You’ll engage with partner agencies, deliver training, and participate in safeguarding activities while helping young adults reduce harm and build

Qualifications

  • You’ll primarily support young adults aged 18-24 in the community, with some work involving under-18s.
  • This role includes managing a caseload of young adults using alcohol and/or drugs across Sefton.
  • Conducting assessments, care planning, and delivering 11 psychosocial and digital interventions.
  • Facilitating group work, outreach, and community events.
  • Providing harm reduction advice and brief interventions.
  • Working in partnership with agencies, attending safeguarding meetings, and delivering training.
  • Excellent engagement and partnership skills.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding for children, young people and adults.

Full Time 37.5 per week

Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About the role
