Job summary

Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is seeking an experienced Account Manager to deliver excellent service across Public Sector contracts in Yorkshire. The role is full-time and home-based with regular travel within the region, typically 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet customer needs.

You will manage contracts, build trusted relationships from operatives to Directors, and drive profitable growth by expanding existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing customer accounts in a commercial environment.
• Public Sector market knowledge is preferred with understanding of its influences.
• Track record of customer retention, sales growth and margin improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Public Sector contracts across Yorkshire with focus on service and retention.
• Build relationships from operatives to Directors to identify opportunities.
• Deliver profitable growth by expanding existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance and IT.
• Maintain product catalogues, pricing, and commercial agreements.
• Support tender and re-tender activities with customer insight.
• Monitor contract terms, KPIs and SLAs and drive improvements.
• Support social value initiatives and regional business development.
• Assist with contract mobilisations/demobilisations with the JPS team.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM and contribute to new pipelines.
