Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a field-based BMS commissioning specialist to join our project delivery team across Yorkshire. You will pre-commission control panels and field devices, work with ECOSTruxure software, and commission controllers, networks and devices into a complete system.

You will collaborate with project managers to meet design and site programmes, write software through the GUI, and maintain safe working practices on site. Some training on Schneider Security Expert is provided.

Qualifications

Experience in BMS commissioning or service work; training provided for Schneider Ecostruxure.
HVAC install or commissioning experience preferred.
Some electrical skills and ability to fault find electrical connections and read panel drawings.
Experience in a customer-focused environment, working within a team and using your initiative to achieve the delivery of projects.
Experience with door access solutions (desirable).
PC Skills and technical skills on a laptop, working on word and excel, saving and moving files as a minimum.
Must be willing to travel to work each day across the region.
Full driving license.
Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Working in end user projects , on our customer sites around the Yorkshire region
To pre-commission control panels, field devices onto new and existing systems. Working on Schneider Ecostruxure software and graphics.
To commission field controllers, networks and field devices into a complete control system
Work closely with project managers to deliver to a design and site programs
Writing and commissioning controller software through to the Graphical User Interface
To ensure a safe and healthy working environment for themselves and others, at office or site locations.
To also be available to commission door access systems on our customers sites using Schneider Security Expert software and hardware. Training given on all products.
