Job summary

Schneider Electric in the United Kingdom is seeking a technically capable technician to join the project delivery team. You will pre-commission, commission and program BMS hardware and software on customer sites around Yorkshire, coordinating with project managers to meet design and site timelines.

You will work on Schneider Ecostruxure and door access solutions, travel daily across the region and bring an operational mindset to ensure safe, high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS commissioning or service work preferred; training provided on Schneider Ecostruxure.
• HVAC install or commissioning experience preferred.
• Some electrical skills and ability to read panel drawings.
• Customer-focused, team-oriented, with initiative to deliver projects.
• Door access experience desirable.
• Laptop skills: Word/Excel; able to save and move files.
• Must travel across the region; full driving licence required.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Pre-commission control panels and field devices on customer sites in Yorkshire.
• Commission field controllers, networks and devices into a complete control system.
• Work with project managers to align with design and site programs.
• Write and commission controller software to GUI.
• Support door access systems using Schneider Security Expert software/hardware; training provided.
