BMS Commissioning Engineer

Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a field-based BMS commissioning specialist to join our project delivery team across Yorkshire. You will pre-commission control panels and field devices, work with ECOSTruxure software, and commission controllers, networks and devices into a complete system.

You will collaborate with project managers to meet design and site programmes, write software through the GUI, and maintain safe working practices on site. Some training on Schneider Security Expert is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS commissioning or service work; training provided for Schneider Ecostruxure.
• HVAC install or commissioning experience preferred.
• Some electrical skills and ability to fault find electrical connections and read panel drawings.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment, working within a team and using your initiative to achieve the delivery of projects.
• Experience with door access solutions (desirable).
• PC Skills and technical skills on a laptop, working on word and excel, saving and moving files as a minimum.
• Must be willing to travel to work each day across the region.
• Full driving license.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

• Some interest in STEM or technical background
• Some electrical or mechanical background or knowledge preferred
• Experience in BMS or Access control preferred
