Job summary

Gardiner and Theobald LLP in Leeds is seeking a Year Out Surveyor to join the G&T Accelerate Programme, gaining responsibility and mentoring while preparing for Chartered membership of RICS. You will support cost management activities and learn across projects with guidance and real project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Measuring drawings produced by the Design Team, manually or with CostX.
• Prepare cost plans that establish project budgets for clients.
• Assist with contract documentation, including drawing registers and pricing documents.
• Support review and comparison of tender returns for contractor appointments.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts for projects on behalf of clients.
• Attend site visits and carry out valuations of completed works.
• Support value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Attend project and site meetings with design teams and contractors.
